Russian forces makes territorial gains in central Bakhmut. There is a real possibility that Ukrainian troops have taken up new positions west of the train tracks.

In Mar’inka, there are reports that Ukrainian forces in the center of Mar’inka have carried out a number of counter-attacks.

At Pobjeda, Russian troops would also have been forced back several hundred meters due to a counter-attack.

General Updates:

This week, the US will announce another package of military aid to Ukraine, said US National Security Council coordinator Kirby.

Norway and Denmark will hand over 8,000 155-mm artillery shells to Ukraine, taken from military warehouses. These shells can be delivered as soon as possible.

Poland handed over the first batch of MiG-29’s to Ukraine. The exact number which Poland will hand over is not communicated, but there are strong rumors about 20-22 pieces in total.

At a meeting on April 4-5, the Foreign Ministers of the NATO countries will agree on the start of the development of a multi-year program to support Ukraine.

Hungarian Deputy Foreign Minister Levente Magyar arrived in Ukraine. He visited Zahaltsi, a town just west of Borodyanka which was heavily affected by the invasion a year ago.
