A fairly large missile and drone attack yesterday. Ukrainian Forces claim to have shot down 6 Kinzhal missiles and 9 Kalibr-cruise missiles, while Russian sources report they destroyed a Patriot system.

In Bakhmut additional advances by Ukrainian forces have been confirmed along the Khromove road trying to push towards Berkhivka.

North of Bakhmut at Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Ukrainian forces pushed back Russian troops with a local counter attack. Meanwhile, the attack on Dubovo-Vasylivka continues.

General Updates:

The UK and the Netherlands have agreed to create a coalition to purchase fighter jets for Ukraine, Le Monde writes, citing Downing Street after a meeting between British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his Dutch counterpart Mark Rutte.

Ukraine aims to get 40 to 50 F-16 fighters, forming three or four squadrons, Politico writes based on a quote of Yuriy Sak, an adviser to the Ukrainian Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov.

German defence industry company Hensoldt signed a contract to supply Ukraine with 6 more TRML-4D air surveillance radars worth €100 million, the company reported in a statement.

Macron said that France will also provide Ukraine with missiles without going into detail which missiles he was talking about.
