In Bakhmut, there are reports that Ukrainian forces have counterattacked near Bakhmut Industrial College and a little east of Khromove around the medical facility.

In Avdiivka area, multiple sources confirm an advance up to 1.5km into Russian defensive positions. It is not yet clear where exactly, but it points towards the area near Novobakhmutivka-Troits’ke.

General Updates:

The USA intends to announce a new package of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of $300 million. It will reportedly include artillery and mortar ammunition, Hydra-70 rockets, trucks, heavy equipment and spare parts.

Denmark allocates a new package of military aid to Ukraine, worth $250 million, said the head of the Ministry of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen. The funds will be used for the purchase of demining machines, ammo, field bridges and air defense equipment.

Ukraine can receive additional ammunition for Gepard already in August, Scholz said. He also stated that Ukraine should not fire on Russian territory with German supplied weapons.
