The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine may begin in the coming days or even hours, Russian appointed governor of the occupied part of Zaporizhzia Oblast Yevgeny Balitsky said.

Wagner owner Prigozhin claims that Wagner will leave Bakhmut by May 10 and hand over positions to the troops of the Russian Federation.

Kadyrov announced that in the event of the departure of Wagner PMC from Bakhmut, he will send Akhmat fighters there.

The OSCE recognized the deportation of children from Ukraine as a war crime. The organization’s report mentions that, in addition to Russia and Russian-controlled territories of Ukraine, Ukrainian children were also sent to Belarus.

The Council of Europe has finally approved a plan to purchase a million ammunition for Ukraine. The assistance measure will finance the provision of 155-mm artillery rounds and, if requested, missiles which will be jointly procured by EU member states.

Denmark, Netherlands and Germany will jointly transfer 80 Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine starting from June 1st, Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen said.

The German concern Rheinmetall wants to provide Ukraine with a significant amount of artillery ammunition and announced plans to produce up to 600,000 shells per year.
