Russian forces are trying to advance south of Masyutivka through the forest strip. Fighting is ongoing west of Synkivka. Russian sources claims that the distance between them and Kupyansk is only 3km which is unconfirmed.

In Kreminna front Ukrainian forces managed to push back Russian forces north of Hryhorivka in the Kreminna forest. Russian troops retreated a couple hundreds of meters back to Shypylivka.

In Bakhmut along the Donbas Canal towards Kurdyumivka, Ukraine’s 28th mechanized cleared more treelines and trenches. Assault units are actively attacking towards Andriivka via two treelines which is the only fortified defense left towards the supply road to Klishchiivka.

Near Krasnohorivka, Russian forces launched a fairly large assault on the mining area south of the town. The attack failed, Russian material and personnell were destroyed.

General Updates:

Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands will hand over M113 APC’s to Ukraine. These are refurbished vehicles that are purchased from the industry. The ministers of defense of the 3 countries report this today in a joint statement.

Denmark handed over drones for demining to Ukrainian sappers. The drones are able to detect magnetic anomalies, which significantly helps the process of detecting hidden explosive objects.

The European Union called on Russia to reconsider its decision and immediately return to the grain agreement. The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, says that the Russian Federation continues to use food as a weapon.
