Southwest of Bakhmut Ukrainian forces has crossed to the east side of the canal. There are also reports of further gains inside Berkhivka, north of Bakhmut.
Russian sources reports heavy fighting near Staromaiors’ke and the area west of it. A couple of days ago it became already known that the Ukrainian forces are trying to press towards the forest ridge.
General Updates:
A new package of military aid in the amount of €55 million is allocated by Spain. This was stated by Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez during a speech in the parliament and promised that Spain will support Ukraine, regardless of the price, as long as necessary.
Spain will hand over 4 additional Leopard 2 tanks, an unknown amount of armored personnel carriers and a mobile field hospital to Ukraine, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said during a press moment with President Zelenskyi.
