Russian forces have completely abandoned Urozhaine and Armed forces of Ukraine forces immediately begin probing southward. There are reports that the AFU 35th and and 37th Marine Brigades conducted a reconnaissance in force by attacking Russian positions in northern Zavitne Bazhannya to the south of Staromaiors’ke.
It is possible the Ukrainian forces will move to capture Pryyutne to the west of Staromaiors’ke and eliminate the bulge between the two villages. However, the main vector of force remains southward towards Staromlynivka.
The Ukrainian port of Izmail on the Danube River and border with Romania is being attacked by Russian launched Iran’ian Shahed kamikaze drones.
Ukraine takes credit for striking Crimean Bridge in Kerch Strait with sea drone in July. The SBU released footage to CNN showing the moment of the attack, carried out with a sea surface drone nicknamed Sea Baby.

Sweden announced military aid to Ukraine focusing on ammunition and spare parts. Also Sweden will sell RB-99 AMRAAM air to air missiles to the US which will donate them to Ukraine.
The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated $32 million for the construction of additional fortifications in the north-eastern regions, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported.
Approximately 30 foreign microchips were found in the Kh-101 missiles launched by Russia at Ukraine on the night of August 15, head of the presidential office Andriy Yermak said.
