The representative of the National Guard of Ukraine, Colonel Mykola Urshalovich, said that in the Melitopol direction, one of the operational brigades advanced 650m deep into Russian defense, on a front section 1.5 kilometers wide.

In Bakhmut Ukrainian forces has taken over an important stronghold north of Kurdyumivka. They are about to enter the town.

In Klishchiivka axis Russian forces have already left it some days ago but are heavily entrenched east of it, bombarding the settlement daily. As there is barely any defensive options left, it’s hard to get in unseen.

Ukraine today began negotiations with the US on a bilateral agreement on the provision of security guarantees, as provided for in the Joint Declaration on Support for Ukraine, which is the basis for the development of relevant bilateral agreements, Zelenskyi’s office reported.
