Ukrainian  forces has gained a strong foothold in Krynky while the Russian forces are doing everything they can to gain ground near Avdiivka.

In Avdiivka there is footage that indicates Ukrainian troops are still present directly east of Terrykon which means all claims Russians made about capturing it look to be false.

Fighting is still very intense near Synkivka-Lyman Pershyi and also a bit more east near Yahidne-Ivanivka. Russian forces are still trying to advance towards Kupyansk.

General Updates:

On the International Day of the Black Sea, Zelenskyi met with Ukrainian defenders, who changed the situation in the Black Sea for the benefit of Ukraine and the world, and presented them with state awards.

It is reported that PMC Wagner has resumed recruiting volunteers, now under the flag of the Russian National Guard led by the son of deceased ex leader Yevgeny Prigozhin, Pavel Prigozhin.

Ukraine will receive €335 million in aid from the European Commission. Today, the government approved an agreement on financing the EU Support for Recovery and Reforms programme., Prime Minister Shmyhal wrote.
