In Avdiivka front clashes continues towards east of Stepove. There are preliminary reports of a Ukrainian counterattack near the railway tracks. Meanwhile towards north of Vodyane heavy Russian attacks continue.

Russian soldiers shot two unarmed Ukrainian POWs that surrendered near Stepove. The Ukrainian soldiers were reportedly left without ammunition and had to surrender, once the second soldier came out, they decided to shoot them both.

In Kupyansk front Russian forces has slightly improved its positions south of Lyman Pershyi. Ukrainian forces has repelled a very large Russian attack towards Synkivka and south of Pershotravneve.

In Mar’inka Russian forces have advanced into the most western part of the city, which now mainly consists of ruins. It is high likely that the AFU holds no more area south of the lake but only has presence north of it.

General Updates:

Another group of 70 Ukrainian soldiers completed their training on the Patriot air defense system. Ukraine is now able to work independently with the system in the future.

The German concern Rheinmetall plans to launch its plant in Ukraine as early as 2024, CEO Armin Papperger said in a statement.
