Meghan Markle Turns Down Major Offer from Prince William and Kate Middleton Amid UK Visit
Amidst ongoing tensions within the royal family, Meghan Markle has reportedly declined an offer from Prince William and Kate Middleton to bring her children to the UK, further highlighting the strain in relations between the Sussexes and the Waleses.
According to reports from The Mirror, the Dukee and Duchess of Sussex have expressed a desire to extend an olive branch to the Waleses, but Meghan’s “sense of grievance” has hindered any progress towards reconciliation.
Royal expert and author Tom Quinn shared insights with the publication, revealing that while Prince Harry is open to reconciling with his estranged brother and sister-in-law, he remains steadfast in supporting his wife’s perspective.
“Harry would like a reconciliation, but supports his wife completely,” Quinn stated. “Until she feels that the Royal family have been sufficiently nice to her – and grovelling apologized for the past – it’s not going to happen.”
Despite hopes that Kate Middleton’s recent illness might serve as a catalyst for reconciliation, Quinn suggests that Meghan’s lingering grievances continue to impede any meaningful progress in repairing relations between the two families.

Quinn further claimed that William and Kate approached the Sussexes with a suggestion to bring Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the UK in an effort to facilitate a reunion, but Meghan ultimately declined.
“There is no way Meghan would bring the children to the UK,” Quinn asserted. “William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring the children and that the two couples and their families try to make up, but the suggestion is not leading anywhere so far.”
As the rift between the Sussexes and the Waleses persists, the prospects for reconciliation remain uncertain, with Meghan’s refusal to bring her children to the UK highlighting the deep-seated divisions within the royal family.
