Prince William’s return to royal duties has reportedly made his wife, Princess of Wales Kate Middleton’s recovery from cancer “more difficult,” according to a royal insider.
The future king has resumed his official responsibilities while Kate continues her treatment following her cancer diagnosis announced in March.
To manage the increased demands, Prince William is reportedly relying on the support of Kate’s family—Carole, Michael, Pippa, and James Middleton.
Despite this, his royal commitments have taken him away from home more frequently, including a recent two-day visit to Cornwall, his first overnight trip away from Kate since her diagnosis.
A source told Radar Online, “It doesn’t help that William has been away from home more, so Kate’s main support and shoulder to lean on isn’t always around.”
Kate Middleton’s mother, Carole Middleton, has been actively helping by caring for her daughter and grandchildren, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
