Kate Middleton’s Children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis Step into New Roles

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are taking on some heartwarming new roles as doting cousins to James Middleton’s one-year-old son, Inigo. The royal siblings are embracing their responsibilities with enthusiasm, regularly spending time with their young cousin.

James Middleton, brother to Kate Middleton, recently shared some touching insights into this sweet family dynamic. Speaking with The Telegraph, he revealed that Prince William and Kate’s children, along with their cousins from Pippa Middleton’s family, have grown close and often come together at family gatherings.

James explained that George, Charlotte, Louis, and their cousins—Pippa Middleton’s children, Arthur, Grace, and Rose—frequently visit his Bucklebury home, where they bond over their roles as older cousins to little Inigo.

“The cousins all play their role in looking after Inigo – there’s seven of them altogether at the moment,” James shared, clearly proud of how the children have stepped up to care for the youngest member of the family.

Despite their royal duties and school schedules, George, Charlotte, and Louis seem to make time for these special family moments. “We’ll often stop at my parents’ house for tea or supper,” James said, highlighting how close the Middleton siblings remain. “My sisters and I are all within 30 minutes’ drive, so there is often an aunt or a cousin passing through, too.”

The Middletons are known for their tight-knit family bond, and it’s clear that this closeness extends to the next generation.

James went on to describe how the royal children and their cousins enjoy watching over Inigo, though he admitted there are some playful challenges. “I think they’re all impressed at how much of a mess Inigo can make,” he said with a laugh.

Despite the inevitable chaos that comes with a one-year-old, James emphasized the joy and laughter that fills the house whenever the cousins get together. There’s no shortage of giggles as they navigate the fun and sometimes messy world of looking after baby Inigo.

This glimpse into the lives of the young royals and their family shows that even with their high-profile lives, they enjoy the same family moments and childhood memories as anyone else.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis might be future leaders, but for now, they’re happily embracing their roles as loving cousins in a close-knit family.

For James, who welcomed baby Inigo with his wife Alizée Thévenet last year, having his nieces and nephews so involved is undoubtedly heartwarming. His openness about their family interactions reveals just how central family is to the Middletons and the role it plays in their everyday lives.

As the youngest generation of the royal family grows, it’s clear that strong family bonds are being passed down, with George, Charlotte, and Louis playing an active part in this tradition. With Inigo’s first birthday behind him, it seems the next chapter of fun-filled cousin adventures is only just beginning.

The Middleton family’s warmth and joy shine through in these moments, reminding us that beyond the royal titles and public appearances, they are first and foremost a family, full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
