Carole Middleton Faces Fresh Blow Amid Kate Middleton’s Cancer Battle

In a string of challenging developments for the Middleton family, Carole Middleton, mother of the Princess of Wales, grapples with yet another setback following the collapse of her family business.

This news comes amidst the announcement of her daughter Kate’s battle with cancer, adding further strain to the family’s resilience.

Last year, Party Pieces, a business co-owned by Carole and Michael Middleton, plunged into administration, leaving creditors burdened with a staggering £2.6 million debt.

Interpath Advisory, tasked with managing the insolvency, recently disclosed their inability to cover the full fees associated with the process.

The firm’s revelation, uncovering £268,928 in unpaid time costs incurred during Party Pieces’ collapse, underscores the financial strain faced by the Middleton matriarch.

Reports suggest that the extended hours required to navigate the complexities of the insolvency process contributed to this shortfall.

Established in 1987 as a venture specializing in children’s parties, Party Pieces expanded its offerings over the years, only to succumb to the economic downturn spurred by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite Carole’s initial transition to a less active role within the company in 2019, she returned to aid in its management during a bid for rescue in spring 2023, highlighting her enduring commitment to the business.
