King Charles Secret Priority Over Meeting With Prince Harry Unveiled
While King Charles may have found his schedule too packed to accommodate a meeting with his younger son, Prince Harry, he reportedly made time for a private rendezvous with former England football captain David Beckham.
Insiders revealed to The Sun that the monarch hosted Beckham at his country home, Highgrove in Gloucestershire.
During their meeting, they discussed the King’s Foundation, a charity established by Charles himself in 1986.
This revelation follows an earlier statement from Prince Harry’s spokesperson, indicating that a meeting between the Duke of Sussex and his father would not be feasible due to the King’s “full programme.”
Despite Harry’s understanding of his father’s commitments, he expressed hope for a reunion in the near future.
Interestingly, sources suggest that Harry had requested a meeting with his cancer-stricken father a month in advance, underscoring the significance of the anticipated encounter.
In contrast, Beckham’s interaction with King Charles seems to have been more readily facilitated, with discussions reportedly centered on potential collaborations for charitable endeavors.
Beckham’s acceptance of an invitation for talks with the King in October hinted at their shared commitment to philanthropy.
Notably, Beckham’s relationship with Prince Harry has reportedly cooled in recent times, particularly following Harry’s public criticisms of the Royal Family.
Despite their prior friendship and Beckham’s role as an ambassador for the Invictus Games, his alignment with the Duke appears to have shifted amid ongoing tensions within the royal circle.
