Royal Expert Shared Insight Into Kate Middleton’s Public Return To Royal Duties Amid Cancer Treatment
Despite her ongoing cancer treatment, Princess Kate Middleton appears to be quietly continuing her royal duties behind the scenes.
The Princess of Wales, who has been absent from public view for the past five months, remains deeply engaged with her Early Years Foundation.
Royal expert Chris Ship recently shared insights on X, formerly Twitter, revealing that Kate has been briefed on a new study related to her Early Years Foundation.
Ship tweeted, “Kate briefed on today’s new study into her Early Years foundation – but, whilst she saw the report, we’re told it’s not a ‘return to work’.”
Ship emphasized that Kate will only officially return to her duties once she has fully recovered and received clearance from her doctors.
“Kate won’t be back to work until her doctors give her the green light but she’s been briefed by her Early Years Foundation on today’s new report into how businesses can improve the lives of children 0-5yrs,” he wrote.
“Princess of Wales is ‘excited’ about their findings, we are told.”
A Kensington Palace spokesperson reiterated that this should not be interpreted as a formal return to work.
“The work of The Prince and Princess’ projects is ‘always on,’ and that has been no different for the Centre over the past five months with a great deal of progress being made,” the spokesperson stated.

They added that early childhood remains a significant priority for the Princess, and she has been kept fully informed throughout the development of the taskforce’s work.
This ongoing commitment is exemplified by the recent unveiling of a major new report by Kate’s Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood.
The report highlights the potential economic benefits of investing in early childhood, estimating it could generate more than £45.5 billion for the UK’s economy each year.
As Kate continues her treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer, her behind-the-scenes involvement underscores her dedication to the causes she champions, ensuring continued progress and impact even during her personal health battle.
