Kate Middleton, who has been out of the public eye due to her ongoing battle with cancer, is reportedly eager to make a brief appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
According to a new report, the Princess of Wales is showing good progress after undergoing preventative chemotherapy.
If her health condition remains stable, her medical team might give her the green light to participate in the Trooping the Colour on June 15.
Royal expert and historian Dr. Tessa Dunlop believes that Kate’s appearance could ease the concerns of her fans.
Speaking to The Mirror, Dunlop said, “Whether [Kate] will make a balcony appearance on the big day on June 15 remains the great unknown.
My hunch is she will give us a wave, but if she doesn’t (entirely her prerogative), questions about Harry and Meghan are bound to surface.”
Dunlop added, “These are futile, even in 2022 the Sussexes were out of the picture, glimpsed briefly at a window and not invited on the balcony.”
Kensington Palace has confirmed that Kate will not participate in the final dress rehearsal for the King’s birthday celebrations on June 8.
However, there has been no confirmation yet on whether she will attend the main event a week later.
Prince William recently provided a touching update on Kate’s health and her enthusiasm for the event during a conversation with centenarian veteran Geoffrey Weaving at a D-Day commemoration.

When asked about Kate’s condition, William responded, “Yes… she would have loved to have been here today.”
William continued by highlighting Kate’s family connection to the wartime efforts, saying, “I was reminding everybody, her grandmother served at Bletchley, so she would have had quite a bit in common with a few of the other ladies here who served at Bletchley but never spoke about it until the very end.”
As royal fans eagerly anticipate the Trooping the Colour, the potential appearance of Kate Middleton on the balcony would symbolize her resilience and dedication amid her health challenges.
