Billie Eilish Engaged in a Prank War with Her Friends

Billie Eilish recently engaged in a lighthearted prank war, calling up several of her famous friends in a video for Elle.

The Grammy Award winner brought her playful side to the forefront as she prank-called celebrities like Margot Robbie, Tyler, the Creator, and Dakota Johnson.

According to the Daily Mail, the prank calls began with Eilish contacting Margot Robbie. Eilish asked the Barbie star if she could use her house to film a music video after another location fell through.

Robbie, a good sport, played along with the prank and graciously responded, “Prank me anytime. And also if you ever have a real request like that, feel free to call me.”

Next, Eilish targeted Dakota Johnson, prank-calling her with an outlandish story. Eilish claimed she was being offered a role in a movie where she would play a baby. Johnson’s reaction was not detailed, but the absurdity of the request surely caught her off guard.

One of the most intense pranks involved Eilish’s music label’s CEO, Justin Lubliner. Pretending to quit music, Eilish set the scene with palpable nervousness.

“Oh my God, I could throw up right now…my body is a temperature that it’s never been,” she prefaced. Then, she told Lubliner, “Dude, I can’t do this s*** anymore.

Like, I’m gonna quit music, and I’m not doing this anymore.” Lubliner’s reaction was not recorded, but given the stakes, it was likely a mix of shock and concern.

Eilish’s prank on Tyler, the Creator was a test of her ability to maintain composure. She concocted a story about having an accident on a date and needing his help.

Tyler’s response, “Honestly, fire,” showed his cool demeanor and quick wit. The interaction highlighted the playful rapport between the two artists.

Throughout these pranks, Eilish displayed her playful nature and strong connections with her famous friends.

Despite the jokes, Eilish has always expressed deep appreciation and admiration for Tyler, the Creator. In a 2020 interview with NME, she called him the most influential artist, showcasing her genuine respect for his work and impact on the music industry.

The video for Elle not only entertained fans but also revealed a more personal and humorous side of Eilish. It underscored her close relationships within the entertainment industry and her ability to bring laughter to those around her, even at the expense of a little confusion and surprise.
