On July 12, the Prince of Wales took part in the Royal Charity Polo Cup 2024 at the Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park.

Kensington Palace shared rare glimpses of Prince William playing polo and announced on social media that “One million pounds raised for great causes.”
The statement highlighted the cumulative impact of the event over the years: “Every year £1 million is raised at the Royal Polo Charity Cup! Over the last 13 years, we’ve raised over £13 million.
This money has gone on to fund so many worthy causes, with this year’s recipient charities being: @Air_Ambulance, Mountain Rescue England & Wales, @Giveusashoutinsta, @Childbereavementuk, @RoyAfriSoc, @_place2be, @actionforchildrenuk, @mndassoc, @blackthornrally, @hmsoardacious, @royalmarsden.”
Kate Middleton, who attended the event last year, was notably absent this year as she continues her preventative chemotherapy following her cancer diagnosis in March.
Kensington Palace previously confirmed that Kate would not be attending the polo event to support William, subtly indicating her current health struggles.
