Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall Join Forces After Snubbing Kate Middleton’s Carol Concert
Zara Tindall brought the festive spirit to life this holiday season by hosting an intimate Christmas dinner in London, attended by royal cousins and close friends.
According to Hello! Magazine, the equestrian hosted the glamorous event on Thursday at Ixchel, a trendy Mexican restaurant in London.
Among the attendees were Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, and several of Zara’s close friends, including television presenter Natalie Pinkham.
The evening was a joyous gathering of familiar faces, with presenters Sarah-Jane Mee, Georgie Ainslie, Anna Woodhouse, and Di Stewart also joining the celebration.
While Princess Beatrice, a regular at the chic Ixchel restaurant, was reportedly present, she was not pictured during the festivities.
Guests were treated to an exquisite menu, beginning with appetizers like guacamole with pico de gallo served alongside totopos.
The starters included toasted hispi cabbage and Ensenada tacos filled with crispy white fish, pickled cucumber, and carrot, topped with a scotch bonnet crema.
Other delights featured a white crab meat tostada garnished with garlic chips and pico de gallo, which left attendees raving about the culinary experience.
For the main course, the guests savored tender short ribs glazed with smoky adobo and pineapple salsa.
Accompanying side dishes included white honey corn esquites, grilled broccolini, padrón peppers drizzled with lemon vinaigrette, crispy potatoes, and salsa verde.

Dessert was a sweet finale of mango crème brûlée, adding the perfect touch of indulgence to the festive evening.
The dinner was described as a relaxed and cheerful event, brimming with laughter and camaraderie. Zara’s ability to bring her royal cousins together in such a setting highlights her role as a unifying figure in the royal family.
This festive gathering came shortly after Princess Eugenie’s absence from Princess Kate’s Together At Christmas Carol Service at Westminster Abbey, which she had attended annually since 2021.
Princess Eugenie, a mother of two, made her first public appearance this season alongside Zara earlier in the week at a Christmas lunch in Chelsea, adding to the holiday cheer.
Fans of the royal family appreciated Zara’s efforts to create a warm and festive environment during the season. One admirer commented, “Zara always knows how to make people feel welcome. This dinner sounds delightful!”
The gathering also reflected the royals’ shared love for culinary adventures, with Ixchel becoming a favorite spot for some members of the family.
This holiday celebration serves as another reminder of the strong bonds between the royal cousins and their ability to share meaningful moments, away from the spotlight, during the most wonderful time of the year.
