Prince Harry is facing renewed backlash for allegedly turning a blind eye to Meghan Markle’s controversial actions, with a former UK government official calling him complicit in behavior now under public scrutiny.
Ex-culture secretary Nadine Dorries launched a scathing attack on the Duke of Sussex, accusing him of playing a key role in the fallout surrounding Sentebale—the charity he co-founded with Prince Seeiso.
The criticism follows shocking claims by Sentebale’s chair, Dr. Sophie Chandauka, who accused Harry of harassment and racial discrimination.
In a blistering piece for Mail Online, Dorries branded Meghan a narcissist and questioned why Harry had supported her actions. “He is an adult – a 40-year-old father of two – with agency and perspective. But how can he have tolerated some of Meghan’s more questionable actions?” she wrote.
Dorries went even further by describing Harry as a “flying monkey”—a psychological term used to define someone who enables and defends a narcissist’s behavior, often without realizing the full extent of the manipulation.
“Flying monkeys are those people who justify and explain away [a narcissist’s] behavior while not seeing or understanding what is happening around them,” she claimed.
The controversy stems from an incident at a 2024 Sentebale charity polo event in Miami, where Meghan reportedly asked Chandauka to switch places in a group photo, creating an awkward moment that went viral.
