Julie Chrisley’s Life Behind Bars a Look Inside Her Prison Sentence

In a shocking turn of events, Julie Chrisley, known for her role on the reality TV show “Chrisley Knows Best,” began serving a seven-year prison sentence at Federal Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky in January 2023.

Her conviction stemmed from 12 counts of tax evasion, bank, and wire fraud, leading to a dramatic change in her life.

Julie’s legal troubles culminated in a guilty verdict in June 2022, more than two years after both she and her husband, Todd Chrisley, were initially charged.

Throughout the trial, the couple maintained their innocence, claiming that Mark Braddock, a former employee of Todd’s, had committed the crimes while impersonating the real estate mogul in 2012. The verdict, however, did not favor them, leaving their family devastated.
