Israeli authorities have denied reports that the IDF has agreed to a ceasefire in southern Gaza to allow the Rafah border crossing to be opened for aid to flow into the enclave and foreigners to leave.
The Israeli air force announced that senior Hamas commander Muataz Eid from the southern district was killed during an airstrike. Meanwhile columns of IDF heavy equipment on the border with Gaza keep appearing.
Hezbollah published a video of the destruction of an Israeli Merkava tank of IDF on the border with Lebanon.
