According to insiders speaking to Closer, King Charles has turned to his most trusted royal ally — Kate Middleton — in hopes she can help repair the deep rift between Prince Harry and the rest of the Royal Family. The monarch, who is battling cancer, is said to be devastated that he has barely spent any time with Harry and Meghan Markle’s children.
“It breaks Charles’ heart that he hasn’t been able to build a relationship with Archie and Lilibet – he’s already missed so many milestones that he can never get back,” the insider revealed.
Since Harry and Meghan stepped down from royal duties in 2020 and relocated to California, opportunities for Charles to see his grandchildren have been painfully rare.
