In a poignant display of solidarity, the bond between Britain’s King Charles and Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has deepened following their simultaneous diagnoses of cancer, according to insights shared by an expert.
Robert Hardman, speaking with Hello! and reported by GB News, shed light on the monarch’s profound concern for Kate as she faces the challenges of battling cancer at a relatively young age of 42. Hardman revealed that Charles is “extremely concerned” for Kate’s well-being and is committed to offering her unwavering support during this difficult time.
“It’s very clear that he [King Charles] is extremely concerned about her [Kate],” stated Hardman. “I think he wants to make sure as much as he can that if there’s anything he can do, he will do, because for a very fit and healthy young mother, this is a different order of magnitude to someone having to deal with this in their 70s.”
Hardman emphasized that Charles has been a pillar of strength for Kate, offering comfort and reassurance as she navigates through her cancer treatment. He highlighted the mutual support between the two, noting that Kate has also been a source of comfort for Charles during this challenging period.

“When people are in hospital, they don’t really want a fuss,” Hardman noted. “But the fact was: the King was there, she was there, and the Queen was there with him as well. And they did go around to check and reassure the Princess.”
