Prince Harry Faces Fresh Blow Ahead Of UK Return For Invictus Games

Amidst anticipation surrounding Prince Harry’s return to the UK for the 10th anniversary celebrations of the Invictus Games, reports indicate that senior members of the royal family will not be in attendance at the event.

According to The Mirror, “no senior members of the Royal Family” are expected to join the Duke of Sussex in commemorating the milestone on May 8.

Despite Prince Harry’s pivotal role in founding and championing the Invictus Games, the absence of senior royals highlights the ongoing rift within the family.

Prince Harry, who stepped down from his senior working royal position alongside his wife Meghan Markle in 2020, is set to return to the UK for the celebrations.

However, Meghan Markle will reportedly not accompany him on this visit, further underscoring tensions within the royal household.

The Invictus Games Foundation announced the commemorative event on social media platforms, detailing a ‘Service of Thanksgiving’ at St Paul’s Cathedral to mark a decade of changing lives and saving lives through the Invictus Games.
