Prince Harry Unlikely to Visit Ailing Sister in Law Kate Middleton During UK Return

As Prince Harry’s return to the United Kingdom looms closer, speculation swirls around whether he will make a visit to his ailing sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.

The Duke of Sussex is slated to attend the Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London on May 8, commemorating a decade since the inception of the Invictus Games, according to a spokesperson for the event.

However, amidst the confirmations and preparations, indications suggest that Prince Harry may not allocate time to visit Kate Middleton, who is currently undergoing preventative chemotherapy treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer.

Royal author Tom Bower shared insights on this matter, suggesting that while the prince may extend inquiries towards his cancer-stricken father, King Charles, a meeting with the Princess of Wales appears improbable.

“I’m sure he won’t see Kate,” affirmed Bower, shedding light on the dynamics within the royal family.

Bower further elaborated on Prince Harry’s potential motivations, stating, “But to reassert his royalty and his titles to enhance his brand, he will make a huge effort to be seen visiting his father, the King. I would be surprised if Meghan came.”

Echoing similar sentiments, Richard Fitzwilliams emphasized the depth of the rift within the family, casting doubt on the likelihood of reconciliation amidst Kate Middleton’s health struggles.

“Catherine is undergoing preventative chemotherapy treatment and given how deep the rift is, to me it seems unlikely,” Fitzwilliams remarked, underscoring the complexities surrounding familial relationships within the monarchy.

As Prince Harry’s return to the UK approaches, questions linger regarding the potential for reconciliation and familial solidarity amidst ongoing health challenges and interpersonal dynamics.

Whether the Duke of Sussex will bridge the divide with his sister-in-law remains uncertain, leaving room for speculation and observation as events unfold.
