Pippa Middleton Breaks Cover Following Sister Kate Middleton’s Cancer Diagnosis

Pippa Middleton, the sister of the Princess of Wales, made her first public appearance after Kate’s cancer diagnosis was announced.

Pippa donned a striking blue floral jumpsuit by Claire Mischevani, accessorized with a J.Crew ‘Rattan’ straw clutch bag.

Interestingly, Meghan Markle owns the same clutch, which she was seen carrying at a polo match in 2018 while she was still a working royal.

Pippa’s appearance at Wimbledon on Friday occurred just a day before her sister, Princess Kate, faces a crucial decision regarding her attendance at the prestigious event.

Kate, 42, has been the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club since 2016, a role that includes presenting the Wimbledon trophies each year.

However, due to her ongoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer, Kate’s presence at Wimbledon this year remains uncertain.

She had previously stepped back from her royal duties earlier this year following major abdominal surgery and has only made one significant public appearance in 2024.

That appearance was at the Trooping the Colour event in June to celebrate King Charles’s birthday parade.

Currently, Kate is awaiting her doctor’s advice on whether she is fit enough to attend Wimbledon this weekend as part of her preventative chemotherapy treatment.

Both Wimbledon and Kensington Palace have indicated that no updates regarding Kate’s attendance will be provided before Saturday.

Additionally, Kensington Palace confirmed that Kate would not be attending a polo match at the Guards Polo Club in Windsor, Berkshire, where Prince William arrived alone to participate in a charity match honoring the late Rugby League legend and MND campaigner Rob Burrow.
