Was Prince Harry’s Peace Summit With King Charles Just a Royal Trap As Expert Makes Shocking Claim

Prince Harry’s recent attempt to reconcile with his father King Charles is now being called into question and a former royal aide says the entire “peace summit” may have been nothing more than a strategic set-up.
While many believed this surprise meeting between representatives from the Sussexes and the King signaled a thawing of relations, not everyone is convinced it was genuine.
The alleged summit took place at London’s Royal Over-Seas League club, where Harry’s team and King Charles’ senior communications official were spotted having what looked like a discreet meeting.
Photographs captured the group including Harry’s communications head Meredith Maines, UK PR lead Liam Maguire, and the King’s spokesman Tobyn Andreae chatting on a terrace with a clear view of Green Park.
But according to Dickie Arbiter, the former press secretary to the late Queen Elizabeth II, the meeting was never meant to be private. In fact, he says it was all staged.
Speaking out about the photographs, Arbiter questioned how such a private discussion was so conveniently photographed. “Now, how the hell were they photographed from Green Park?” Arbiter asked. “Unless somebody knew they were going to be there?”
He continued, “It’s a stitch-up. This wasn’t an accident. Someone wanted these pictures out there — and that means it was never meant to be a quiet meeting.”
The explosive claim adds a new layer of doubt to Prince Harry’s ongoing efforts to reconnect with his royal relatives, especially his cancer-stricken father, King Charles.
Harry has made no secret of his desire for reconciliation. In a recent BBC interview following his High Court appeal loss in the UK security case, the Duke openly shared that he wants peace with his family.
“I would love reconciliation with my family,” Harry said. “There’s no point continuing to fight anymore. Life is precious.” He also admitted that time may be running out for such reunions, saying he doesn’t know how much longer his father has.

But royal insiders believe the palace remains skeptical of Harry’s motives — especially given how often his private meetings or comments have ended up fueling new headlines.
Arbiter also referenced the palace’s long-standing media strategy in these situations: “Never complain, never explain and they’re sticking with that.”
While Harry may hope his public gestures of peace are taken at face value, critics argue that his past actions, including interviews and memoir revelations, have damaged the trust within the royal family.
Others suspect the Sussex camp may be pushing reconciliation narratives to reshape their image in the UK, especially after a series of professional setbacks and dwindling popularity.
The fact that Meghan Markle was not part of the meeting has also raised questions. Some believe her absence may have been intentional to avoid complicating the fragile reconciliation narrative.
Still, there’s no denying that the possibility of a royal truce is something the public — and the media — are watching very closely.
But if Arbiter is right and the so-called “peace summit” was nothing more than a publicity stunt, then Prince Harry’s path back into the royal fold may be more complicated than ever.
As the King continues his health battle and Prince William’s influence grows, any misstep by Harry could cost him dearly.
