Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Prepare to Evacuate Amid California Wildfires

As wildfires continue to ravage California, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be forced to evacuate their Montecito home.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, face mounting pressure to move to safety due to escalating fire risks in their area.

Local media reports indicate that the couple’s Montecito mansion, located in a “high fire risk” zone, is under threat as Southern California Edison (SCE) considers implementing a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS).

The PSPS would involve cutting power in parts of Santa Barbara County, including Montecito, to prevent potential wildfires ignited by electrical equipment.

An SCE spokesperson explained “We are considering a PSPS in parts of Santa Barbara County due to a Red Flag Warning and increased wildfire risks. Affected customers are being notified, including those in Montecito.”

With over 30,000 people already evacuated in nearby Los Angeles, the Sussexes may have no choice but to join the exodus for their family’s safety.

Since purchasing their Montecito estate in 2020, Harry and Meghan have resided in an area known for its susceptibility to wildfires.

The community’s lush environment and high winds make it particularly vulnerable during California’s wildfire season.

The Pacific Palisades area in Los Angeles has already seen mandatory evacuations as winds continue to fuel the devastating fires.

Authorities have urged residents in affected regions to act quickly, emphasizing the importance of safety over property.

While the Sussexes have not made a public statement about their evacuation plans, their priority is undoubtedly the safety of their young children.

As wildfires displace thousands, local organizations and volunteers have stepped in to provide aid and shelter for affected families.

The Montecito community, known for its resilience, is rallying together to support those in need.

With the wildfire situation evolving rapidly, it remains unclear when the family may return to their Montecito home.

For now, safety measures and evacuation plans are the top priority for Harry, Meghan, and their neighbors.
