Royal sources reveal that Taylor Swift, despite declining an appearance on Meghan Markle’s podcast, was eager to meet Prince William during her recent visit to London.
The pop sensation, accompanied by her boyfriend Travis Kelce, took a selfie with the Prince of Wales and his two eldest children.

A royal insider shared with The Mail, “Taylor Swift was keen to meet the Prince of Wales while she was in London. They already know each other, so the meeting made sense.”
This isn’t the first time Swift and Prince William have crossed paths.

In 2013, Swift performed at Kensington Palace during a fundraising concert for the homelessness charity Centrepoint, where Prince William joined Swift and rock star Jon Bon Jovi on stage for a memorable performance.
In 2022, it was reported that Meghan Markle had invited Swift to appear on her Spotify podcast series, Archetypes, via a handwritten note. Despite this invitation, Swift never featured on the 12-episode podcast.
The recent meeting at Swift’s concert has sparked some comments from fans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, suggesting that Prince William’s attendance at such a high-profile event was an attempt to “copy” Harry and Meghan, who famously interacted with US singer Beyonce in 2019.
