Meghan Markle’s Competitor Extends Olive Branch to Kate Middleton Amid Royal Family Feud

In a surprising development amid the ongoing tensions within the British Royal Family, Gwyneth Paltrow, a competitor to Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand, has extended a message of support to Princess Kate.

The Princess of Wales made her first public appearance in six months at the Trooping the Colour ceremony on Saturday, attending the King’s Birthday Parade alongside her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

During the event, Catherine shared a touching moment with King Charles on the Buckingham Palace balcony as working members of the Royal Family watched the flypast.

Notably absent from the ceremony were Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who have maintained a distance from royal events since stepping down as working royals in 2020 and relocating to the United States.

The couple has not featured on the Buckingham Palace balcony since their move.

Earlier this year, Meghan Markle launched a new lifestyle brand called American Riviera Orchard.

However, in a gesture of goodwill, Gwyneth Paltrow, founder of the successful lifestyle brand Goop, publicly showed her support for Princess Kate.

Paltrow liked a series of photos from Trooping the Colour that the Prince and Princess of Wales posted on social media, catching the attention of many royal watchers.

This public show of support comes after Kate released a video message in March, revealing that she had undergone preventative chemotherapy following the discovery of cancer during tests after significant abdominal surgery at the start of 2024.

Her appearance at Trooping the Colour marked her first official public outing since joining the Royal Family for the walk to Sandringham Church in December 2023.

Despite her presence at Trooping the Colour, the Princess of Wales’s participation does not signal a full return to public duties.

She has indicated plans to “join a few public engagements over the summer” but will not attend upcoming events such as Garter Day or Royal Ascot this week.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s gesture serves as a reminder of the broader public and celebrity support for the Princess of Wales, highlighting the complexities and nuances of relationships both within and surrounding the Royal Family.
