Kensington Palace Makes Delightful Announcement About Kate Middleton Amid Cancer Battle
Kate Middleton has delighted fans with the announcement of her second public appearance since being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
Kensington Palace confirmed that the Princess of Wales will attend the men’s singles final between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon on Sunday afternoon (July 14).
Despite her ongoing health challenges, Kate Middleton has chosen to skip Saturday’s women’s singles final between Barbora Krejčíková and Jasmine Paolini.
Known for her longstanding support of Wimbledon, she traditionally presents trophies to the winners in her role as the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
The Duchess of Cambridge was last seen at Trooping the Colour on June 15, where she attended alongside her three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – during King Charles’ birthday parade.

However, Prince William, who will not be accompanying her, has confirmed his travel to Berlin for the Euro 2024 final between England and Spain.
As the President of the Football Association (FA), he will join Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer to support England’s bid for their first major trophy in 58 years.
The timing of the Euro 2024 final coincides with the Gentlemen’s Men’s Singles final at Wimbledon on Sunday, ensuring that Prince William will not be present at the tournament.
