Jennifer Lopez Joins Ben Affleck’s Unstoppable Biopic in Exciting New Role Amid Divorce Rumors

Jennifer Lopez is set to make waves in Hollywood with her role in the highly anticipated biopic Unstoppable, produced by her estranged husband Ben Affleck.

The film, which tells the inspirational true story of wrestler Anthony Robles, will see Lopez portray Judy, Robles’ mother.

Robles, born with only one leg, achieved a remarkable feat by winning the NCAA national championship in 2011, and Unstoppable will depict his extraordinary journey.

The cast includes Jharrel Jerome as Robles, Bobby Cannavale as his father Rick, Don Cheadle as coach Shawn Charles, and Michael Peña as coach Bobby Williams.

Amazon MGM Studios has already released first-look images from the film, giving fans a glimpse of the cast in character.

Unstoppable is produced by Artists Equity, the production company co-founded by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, and marks a significant project for both Lopez and Affleck.

This film is Lopez’s first major role since her Netflix project Atlas, and it also represents her second collaboration with Affleck following their wedding.

The couple previously worked together on Lopez’s album This Is Me… Now.

The official synopsis of Unstoppable highlights Robles’ remarkable achievements: “Anthony Robles, despite being born without a right leg, rises to become an NCAA Division 1 Champion wrestler, ultimately winning a national championship against the school that rejected him, national powerhouse Iowa.”

The film also marks a notable milestone for William Goldenberg, who is transitioning from his successful career as an editor—having won an Oscar for his work on Argo—to directing.

Unstoppable is set to debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, promising to be a compelling and emotional cinematic experience.
