Kalani Hilliker Engaged to Nathan Goldman After Unexpected Proposal in Lake Como

Kalani Hilliker, known for her time on Dance Moms, has announced her engagement to boyfriend Nathan Goldman. The couple, who have been dating for just six months, got engaged in a stunning and unexpected lakeside proposal in Lake Como, Italy. Hilliker shared the joyful news on Instagram on Saturday, August 17, posting a series of engagement photos that captured the magical moment.

In her post, Hilliker expressed her happiness, writing, “A lifetime of this. I couldn’t be lucky enough or more grateful to get to be your fiancé. I love you forever Nathan.” The 23-year-old dancer and lifestyle influencer looked radiant in a strapless, floor-length white gown, while Goldman complemented her in an off-white button-down shirt and navy pants. The centerpiece of the announcement was Hilliker’s large, oval-cut diamond ring from Brilliant Earth, which she proudly displayed in one of the photos.

The couple had been enjoying a late-summer getaway across Europe, with their trip culminating in the picturesque setting of Lake Como. Goldman, 34, had planned the surprise proposal with the help of Audrey Wood, an event planner based in Arizona. The romantic gesture marked the end of their European adventure on a high note, sealing their commitment to each other.

Hilliker officially introduced her relationship with Goldman to the public in April when the pair attended Coachella together. Since then, their romance has been a subject of interest among fans, with Hilliker frequently sharing glimpses of their time together on social media.

In a May interview Hilliker spoke warmly of her new boyfriend, describing him as “great” and noting that he was never a big fan of Dance Moms. This came as a relief to Hilliker, who joined the popular reality series in season 4 and remained until season 7.

“He didn’t watch it, but I think his family did in some sort of way,” she said, adding that they sometimes watch clips from the show for fun. Hilliker also appreciated Goldman’s detachment from social media, as he doesn’t use TikTok and rarely engages with Instagram. “My boyfriend just is completely out of it, but I love that because I’m so in it, so it’s kind of nice to have somebody that’s out of it,” she remarked.

As Hilliker continues to share her life with her fans, the news of her engagement has been met with excitement and well-wishes from her followers. The couple has not yet announced a wedding date, but their engagement marks the beginning of a new chapter in Hilliker’s life.

In addition to her personal milestones, Hilliker has been busy professionally as well. She participated in Lifetime’s Dance Moms: The Reunion TV special, which aired on May 1. In the reunion, Hilliker reflected on her time with the show and her former dance teacher, Abby Lee Miller.

While acknowledging Miller’s impact on her career, Hilliker also shared that she has taken a different approach in her own teaching style. “I think that there’s a lot of things that I don’t agree with that Abby did as a dance teacher,” she told. “So I kind of do the complete opposite in a way.”

As Hilliker embarks on her journey to marriage, she continues to inspire her fans with her positive outlook and dedication to her craft.
