Meghan Markle’s frustrations with Kate Middleton are reportedly growing, as sources claim she feels the Princess of Wales is not doing enough to mend the rift between Prince Harry and Prince William.
In an exclusive interview with OK! Magazine, insiders shed light on Meghan’s concerns, pointing out her belief that Kate could play a more active role in bridging the gap between the estranged brothers.
“Meghan is well aware that William has major reservations about making peace with Harry, let alone inviting him back into the fold,” the source revealed.
However, Meghan reportedly feels that William might soften his stance with encouragement from others. “She believes he would be a lot more inclined if he had more support, especially from Kate,” the insider added.
Meghan is said to be particularly frustrated given Kate’s reputation as a peacemaker within the family. “It’s difficult for her because Kate is often touted as someone who can mediate disputes, yet Meghan feels she isn’t stepping up to help Harry.”
Despite her frustrations, Meghan is reportedly mindful of Kate’s challenges this year, particularly the reports surrounding her health.
“She is very anxious not to appear critical of Kate, especially after what she’s been through this year,” the source explained, referencing the rumors of Kate’s battle with cancer and the toll it has taken.
But this doesn’t negate Meghan’s feelings. “She does privately find it frustrating,” the insider admitted. “Harry is deeply hurt by the current situation, and Meghan wishes Kate would take more initiative in helping to resolve things.”
