Meghan Markle’s Private Struggle Exposed After UK Delivers Another Blow

Meghan Markle has once again found herself in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons as fresh polling data from the UK reveals the public’s continuing cold stance towards her and Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex, who has often been at the center of royal controversy, reportedly feels the weight of every criticism directed her way. A leading royal expert has now shed light on just how deeply personal the backlash can be for her.

Recent figures from a YouGov survey show that Meghan’s popularity in Britain remains alarmingly low. Only 20 percent of those polled expressed a positive opinion of her, matching her joint-lowest rating on record.

The numbers are not much better for Prince Harry. The Duke of Sussex garnered just 28 percent in favorable views, leaving him far behind senior royals such as Prince William and Princess Kate.

By contrast, the Prince of Wales continues to top the royal popularity charts with a commanding 74 percent approval rating. Princess Kate follows closely behind with 71 percent, while Princess Anne holds steady at 70 percent.

Even King Charles enjoys a clear majority of support, with 59 percent of the public viewing him positively. His approval is closely aligned with the 62 percent who believe he is doing a good job in his role as monarch.

For Meghan and Harry, these latest results signal that their image problem in Britain is far from over. According to experts, the couple’s strained relationship with the royal family continues to overshadow their charitable work and public appearances.

Royal commentator Duncan Larcombe told The Mirror, as reported by GB News, that Meghan’s highly emotional nature makes these negative perceptions even harder to bear.

“She is a very emotional person and takes things personally,” Larcombe explained. “It probably feels like she can never do anything right in the eyes of the UK public.”

The expert pointed out that Meghan has faced criticism whether she speaks out or remains silent. “She was heavily criticised for some of her recent videos, and when she goes quiet, she’s criticised for that too,” he noted.

This no-win situation has reportedly left the Duchess feeling increasingly isolated. Insiders suggest that while Meghan is deeply affected by such public opinion, she also struggles to change the narrative without reigniting past controversies.

Prince Harry and Meghan have recently made moves toward reconciliation with the royal family, which some observers have described as a “charm offensive.” The couple has appeared more open to dialogue and have reportedly reached out to certain family members in private.

However, Larcombe believes these efforts may have come too late to significantly alter public sentiment. Years of public disputes, interviews, and revelations have left deep impressions on the British public, making it difficult for the couple to repair their reputation.

Public perception in Britain remains sharply divided along generational lines. Older Britons tend to maintain strong support for the monarchy while holding more critical views of Meghan and Harry. Younger audiences, while more sympathetic, still show signs of waning interest.

For Meghan, this ongoing battle with public opinion seems to be more than a political or PR challenge. It is a personal struggle, one that touches on her emotional resilience and her ability to navigate life in the public eye.

As the Sussexes continue their life in California, it remains uncertain whether they can ever truly win back the favor of the British public. What is clear, however, is that every poll and every headline only adds to the emotional toll Meghan reportedly feels behind the scenes.
