Meghan Markle Reportedly Disappoints King Charles Over Grandchildren Visit Amid Cancer Battle
The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has seemingly disappointed King Charles amid his battle with cancer, as the monarch expresses a desire to meet his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet.
According to reports, King Charles has been eager to reunite with Archie and Lilibet, but the royal children’s last visit to him reportedly occurred in 2022 during late Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee celebrations when Meghan and Harry were present.
Despite Prince Harry attending King Charles’ coronation last year without his family, the monarch was purportedly “very disappointed” that he was unable to see his grandchildren during the event.
Now, royal expert Tom Quinn claims that Kate Middleton and Prince William have extended an olive branch to Meghan and Harry, urging them to bring Archie and Lilibet to the UK for a visit. However, it appears that Meghan has firmly refused, causing further disappointment for King Charles.
“William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring the children and that the two couples and their families try to make up, but the suggestion is not leading anywhere so far,” Quinn explained to Mirror UK.
