Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, may be on the verge of ending her longstanding rift with the royal family, as she reportedly signals readiness for peace talks after four years of strained relations.
In an interview with GB News’ host Nana Akua, royal expert Angela Levin disclosed Meghan’s intentions amidst ongoing controversies surrounding Prince Harry’s recent award nomination.
Levin emphasized Meghan’s lingering hurt over her perceived mistreatment during the early years of her marriage to Prince Harry, indicating that she is seeking an apology from the royal family.
This desire for reconciliation comes amid reports suggesting Meghan hopes for King Charles’ endorsement of products from her American Riviera Orchard lifestyle brand.
“(Meghan’s) still genuinely hurt by how she was treated by the Royal Family – this is four years on,” Levin shared, underscoring Meghan’s emotional stance on the matter.

“And she wants to now at last sit down and talk through things.”
However, despite Meghan’s willingness to initiate dialogue, Levin expressed doubts about the royal family, including King Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, being receptive to Meghan’s demands for an apology.
“The person who should apologize is really her, but they (Harry and Meghan) don’t want that,” Levin stated, suggesting potential complexities in any potential reconciliation efforts.
