Kate Middleton Hides Major Decision About Prince George’s Future And Palace Refuses to Reveal Her Plans

Kate Middleton and Prince William have made a surprising move regarding their son Prince George’s future and sparking speculation and concern among royal watchers and parents alike.
According to reports, the Prince and Princess of Wales are keeping a tight lid on where Prince George will go to secondary school, even as speculation continues to swirl.
Despite growing interest in the future king’s next educational step, Kensington Palace has chosen not to release any official announcement, citing privacy and security concerns.
The decision comes as Prince George, 11, continues to attend Lambrook School alongside his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
All three Wales children joined Lambrook in 2022, marking a fresh chapter in royal education and causing a noticeable stir at the prestigious Berkshire school.
According to GB News, the arrival of the royal children has already transformed the school’s daily routine and atmosphere, leading to mixed reactions from other families.
Melanie Sanderson, the managing editor of The Good Schools Guide, explained why the Palace is holding back from revealing Prince George’s next academic destination.
“I know that when the Royal Family joined Lambrook, for example, there were a few grumbles,” she told the outlet. “Everything was being tightened up and the loss of a very sweet, quite small, family-focused school was felt.”
Sanderson noted that the school’s once-relaxed environment has become more formal since the Wales family enrolled their children.
“Suddenly gates were locked,” she said. “It was harder to drop a forgotten item off. Sports day becomes a grander occasion. The carol service each year becomes a grander occasion. It just changes the dynamic of the school.”
Such disruptions have reportedly caused some frustration among non-royal parents, who feel the school’s original charm is slowly being lost.

Insiders close to Kate Middleton and Prince William have emphasized that the royal couple is “completely understanding of other parents’ concerns.”
The Waleses reportedly aim to ensure that Prince George’s educational path does not cause further upheaval or tension within his learning environment.
It’s believed that this sensitivity is one reason why no announcement has been made about which secondary school Prince George will attend after Lambrook.
As the future king, George’s schooling will always attract public attention, but William and Kate appear determined to shield him from unnecessary media pressure.
This measured approach reflects the couple’s long-standing desire to offer their children a more grounded, private upbringing despite their royal status.
Kate and William have previously prioritized stability and normalcy for their children, which is likely influencing their decision to delay revealing George’s next school.
The couple is said to be weighing several options, but they have not ruled out alternatives to traditional elite institutions like Eton, where Prince William and Prince Harry were both educated.
The delay has sparked widespread debate among royal fans and education experts alike, with some praising the couple’s discretion and others calling for more transparency.
Regardless of where Prince George ends up, it’s clear that his parents are trying to protect both their son’s wellbeing and the dynamics of the school communities he joins.
As Prince George prepares to take another step toward his royal future, his parents are doing everything they can to ensure he walks that path on his own terms.
