Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Shocking Stand Against Prince Andrew as Family Rift Deepens

Prince William and Kate Middleton have drawn a firm line in the sand when it comes to their relationship with Prince Andrew. According to a royal biographer, the Prince and Princess of Wales not only distance themselves from the Duke of York but also refuse to allow their three children anywhere near him.

The revelations come from Andrew Lownie, author of Entitled The Rise and Fall of the House of York, who has shed light on the ongoing tensions inside the royal family. His claims suggest that the feud between William and Andrew is more personal and bitter than the public may realize.

Prince Andrew, already disgraced by past scandals, is now reportedly on the verge of being completely sidelined once Prince William ascends to the throne. In an interview with Woman’s Day, Lownie stated that William plans to remove his uncle from royal life entirely once he becomes King.

“William will do it alone and probably get rid of Harry as well,” the royal biographer claimed, indicating that the future monarch intends to protect the monarchy from both internal controversy and lingering scandals.

Lownie further added that Andrew is fully aware of his fragile position. “Andrew knows he will receive no favours once William is king. His ambitions are now centred on his daughters becoming working royals,” he said. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie may therefore become central to Andrew’s attempts at maintaining influence.

But the tension does not stop there. The Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly “purposefully” avoid Andrew whenever possible. According to Lownie, William and Kate do not like Andrew personally and can see the potential danger he poses to the institution William will one day inherit.

Most strikingly, the couple has taken steps to shield their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, from their controversial uncle. Lownie claimed that William and Kate keep their young family away from Andrew, a decision that underscores the seriousness of the rift.

“They do not like him personally and can see the danger he poses to the institution that William will inherit,” Lownie noted, suggesting that the next generation of royals will grow up with limited or no contact with Andrew.

This revelation also aligns with past reports of Andrew’s complicated standing within the family. According to Lownie’s book, the Duke of York has even made “rude and unkind” remarks about Kate Middleton, a move that has fueled resentment from William.

The author described Andrew’s comments as surprising, pointing out that Kate’s character should make her difficult to criticize. “It surprised me, but people do get jealous. It is because she is the polar opposite of him – public spirited, charming, hard working, popular with the common touch,” Lownie explained.

He added that one would expect Andrew to respect Kate as the future Queen Consort, yet instead he has allegedly made disparaging remarks behind closed doors. “I’d have thought Prince Andrew would respect William as future king though, rather than be nasty about his wife,” Lownie remarked.

This clash highlights just how fractured the royal family has become in recent years. Between Andrew’s fall from grace, Harry’s estrangement, and Charles’ ongoing health struggles, the monarchy faces challenges on multiple fronts.

For William and Kate, however, protecting their children and safeguarding the crown appear to be their top priorities. Their rejection of Andrew is not simply personal but also symbolic of a larger effort to distance the monarchy from scandal.

As Andrew’s inner circle continues to leak stories and as more revelations emerge from books like Lownie’s, the tension within the family is unlikely to fade. What is clear, though, is that Prince William is preparing for a reign defined by tough decisions and his uncle will not be part of the future he envisions for the crown.
