Andrew Mountbatten Leaves King Charles and Prince William Furious with Another Embarrassing Move
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has once again angered his brother King Charles and nephew Prince William after his latest act at the Royal Lodge, just weeks before his expected eviction.
According to royal insiders who spoke to Woman’s Day, Andrew’s decision to receive a delivery of luxury champagne at the estate has been described as “utterly tone-deaf” given the circumstances. The lavish delivery reportedly arrived at a side gate, where a worker quietly collected the bottles, raising eyebrows across the royal circle.
A palace insider told the outlet, “William and Charles are simply aghast. They can’t believe he would be so foolish and careless.” The source added that this latest stunt has not only angered the King but also sparked fresh worries about what Andrew might do next.
The insider continued, “It’s also struck a chord of fear for Charles. He knows how vindictive his brother can be, and with nothing to lose, he could now become an even bigger thorn in their side than before.”
Reports suggest that Andrew has been making a series of questionable moves ever since his eviction process began. He is said to have made multiple demands as part of his relocation, frustrating both the King and the Prince of Wales, who have been pushing for a clean break.
An earlier report by The Sun noted that “The Champagne was delivered to a side gate and a worker collected it. Whoever it’s for, some might say it’s perhaps not a good look to have Champagne delivered.” The delivery has been interpreted by some royal observers as a sign that Andrew may be planning a defiant farewell celebration before vacating the Royal Lodge.

According to insiders, the disgraced royal is allegedly preparing a “celebration” at the property, despite facing formal eviction orders. Many see this as an act of defiance against his brother, who has been determined to distance the monarchy from the scandals surrounding Andrew’s name.
King Charles recently began a formal process to strip Andrew of his remaining “Style, Titles and Honours,” a move supported by senior royals including Prince William and Kate Middleton. Palace sources have confirmed that “formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease” of Royal Lodge, effectively ending Andrew’s long-standing claim to the property.
For years, Andrew’s lease at Royal Lodge provided him with legal protection to remain on the estate despite mounting public and political pressure. But that protection now appears to have run out. Charles is said to have grown increasingly frustrated with his brother’s reluctance to cooperate and his insistence on clinging to the trappings of his former royal status.
Sources also claim that both Prince William and Kate have quietly backed the King’s decision, believing that the monarchy cannot move forward while Andrew continues to attract controversy. “William is particularly firm about this,” said one insider. “He sees it as part of his duty to protect the integrity of the institution his father has worked so hard to preserve.”
With the eviction order in motion and his public standing at an all-time low, Andrew’s future within the royal fold remains uncertain. His apparent refusal to show restraint, even in moments of crisis, has left many wondering how far he will go to assert his defiance.
While King Charles and Prince William focus on restoring the monarchy’s image, Andrew’s every move seems to pull them back into unwanted controversy and this latest champagne delivery may be the final straw
