In Bakhmut city heavy fighting continues on the last few blocks that are still in the hands of Ukrainian troops. Russians are increasingly targeting the bridges connecting Bakhmut to the west using heavy artillery, mortars and missiles.

Meanewhile Ukrainian forces continue to push Russian forces back at the Bakhmut flanks. A sizeable part near Klishchiivka south of Bakhmut has been liberated.

General Updates:

Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat called on Ukrainians not to worry about the fate of the Patriot air defense system, which the Russian Ministry of said to have destroyed.

Switzerland seized over $113 million in assets of Ukrainian businessman Konstantin Zhevago. The State Bureau of Investigation is now working to get the money back to Ukraine.

France is studying the possibility of supplying Ukraine with Scalp cruise missiles, writes Le Monde. The decision to provide Kyiv with air to ground guided missiles capable of hitting targets at long distances has not yet been made.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Péter Szijarto said that Budapest will block EU military aid to Ukraine until Kyiv excludes the Hungarian OTP Bank from the list of international sponsors of the war.
