Evgeny Prigozhin announced the complete capture of Bakhmut. For over 9 months Russia tried to capture the city while Ukrainian troops inflicted maximum damage to them.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian Federation lost up to 70 thousand soldiers, said the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Oleksiy Reznikov.

President Joe Biden informed G-7 leaders on Friday that the U.S. will support a joint international effort to train Ukrainian pilots on modern fighter aircraft, including F-16s, according to a senior administration official

US and allies intend to transfer F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine as part of a long-term effort to strengthen the country’s security, a senior Biden administration official said.

President Zelensky at the summit of the League of Arab States called for support for the Ukrainian peace formula, which requires the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine and the return of the borders of 1991.
