Paris Hilton and Family Go Fungus Among Us for Halloween

In a recent Halloween celebration that has captured the hearts of many, socialite Paris Hilton and her family transformed into a delightful, fungi-filled ensemble that paid homage to pop sensation Katy Perry’s iconic Las Vegas residency mushroom costume. The Hilton family’s Halloween attire showcased their love for the spooky season and the world of pop culture.

Paris Hilton, at the age of 42, shared her family’s unique Halloween costumes on October 30th via her social media accounts. The eye-catching attire was heavily inspired by Katy Perry’s Las Vegas residency costume, a vibrant and whimsical mushroom ensemble that Perry had made famous.

For her own rendition, Paris Hilton sported a striking red latex cut-out bodysuit complemented by fringed chaps and matching gloves, deviating from her trademark platinum hair in favor of a sleek, long black wig. Her husband, Carter Reum, rocked a red sweatshirt, white pants, and sneakers, accompanying her on this enchanting Halloween adventure.

However, it was the Hiltons’ 9-month-old son, Phoenix, who truly stole the Halloween show. He was dressed in an adorable ribbed off-white onesie that undoubtedly melted the hearts of onlookers. To complete the family’s mushroom-themed attire, all three donned polka-dot mushroom caps.

Paris Hilton shared the images of her family’s transformation with a caption that read, “A full family concert @KatyPerry.” In a subsequent post, she added, “Halloween Round 2 as another one of my iconic Queens @KatyPerry #IconsOnly.”

The Hilton family’s innovative and heartwarming costumes drew a flood of admiration from friends and family, with notable figures such as Demi Lovato and Kris Jenner offering their praise. Kathy Hilton, Paris’s mother, responded to both Instagram posts with a plethora of red heart emojis.

This year’s Halloween celebration was not the first time that Paris Hilton channeled a pop star. On October 27, she attended the annual Casamigos Halloween party alongside Jessica Alba, where both women dressed as Britney Spears from her 2003 music video for “Toxic.” Hilton, ever the fashion maven, opted for Spears’ teal flight attendant costume, while Reum played the role of the pilot. Meanwhile, Jessica Alba donned the equally iconic sparkling nude bodysuit from the same video.

Paris Hilton paid tribute to Britney Spears on Instagram with the caption “In honor of our Queen” while modeling her outfit to the tune of Spears’ hit song “Gimme More.” The two have been close friends for quite some time, and Hilton was even present at Spears’ wedding to Sam Asghari in June 2022.

The Casamigos Halloween party, hosted by Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, co-founder of the Casamigos liquor brand along with George Clooney, attracted a constellation of A-list stars, including Austin Butler, Kaia Gerber, Justin Bieber, Megan Fox, and Machine Gun Kelly.

In the entertainment industry, Halloween costumes are a significant part of the celebration, but this year, SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) actors have had to get creative due to an ongoing strike. The union has provided guidelines to striking actors on how to dress up for Halloween without crossing picket lines, emphasizing that costumes inspired by “struck content” should not be shared on social media.

The world may have had to adapt its Halloween celebrations due to ongoing strikes, but Paris Hilton and her family have shown that creativity and a love for pop culture can make Halloween memorable and heartwarming in entirely new ways.
