Prince William Faces Inquiries About Kate Middleton’s Health During Royal Engagement
During a recent royal engagement in Wales, Prince William faced inquiries about the health of his wife, Princess Kate, who is currently recovering from abdominal surgery at their home in Windsor.
The Prince of Wales attended Wrexham AFC’s Racecourse Ground on Friday to mark St David’s Day, where he encountered questions from members of the public regarding Princess Kate’s well-being.
As Prince William entered the stadium, one individual requested a selfie, to which he responded, “Can I say hello to the team? I’ll come back.” However, when asked about Princess Kate’s health, Prince William remained silent and did not provide a response.
Princess Kate underwent abdominal surgery in January and spent two weeks recovering at the London Clinic before returning home to Windsor. She is expected to refrain from undertaking any royal duties until after Easter, as she continues her recovery process.
Prince William, who took a short break from his public duties following his wife’s surgery, will lead the Royal Family this week, with King Charles receiving treatment for cancer and Queen Camilla traveling abroad for a holiday. Prince Edward will support Prince William during this time.

While Queen Elizabeth has been leading the Royal Family in King Charles’s absence, she is now set for a short holiday outside of the UK to recharge. She will return on March 11 to represent King Charles at the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey.
Despite the unexpected circumstances, Queen Elizabeth is reportedly prepared to do whatever is necessary for the institution of the monarchy.
