The Duchess of Sussex has been working on a lifestyle company titled American Riviera Orchard, which includes ventures such as Netflix shows about jam-making, cookery, gardening, and polo playing.
However, her timing has been called into question, particularly amidst Princess Kate’s battle with cancer and King Charles’ own health issues.
Royal expert Lizzy Cundy criticized Meghan’s apparent lack of awareness, stating, “They’ve got these new Netflix shows…it’s not really relatable. I think it’s pretty insensitive when Catherine’s going through what she’s going through and the King is going through his cancer issues too.”
Cundy further emphasized Meghan’s alleged self-absorption, suggesting that she fails to consider the broader context. “They never read the room do they? They’re so into themselves they can’t see the wood for the trees,” she remarked.
