Prince Harry’s Efforts to Mend Relationship with Kate Middleton Amid Cancer Diagnosis

As Prince Harry prepares for his upcoming visit to the UK in May for the 10th anniversary of The Invictus Games, royal experts suggest he is determined to mend his relationship with cancer-stricken Kate Middleton.

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe spoke to New! magazine, indicating that Harry may be filled with regret over his actions towards Kate and Prince William since he left the royal family alongside Meghan Markle in 2020. Larcombe emphasized the close bond Harry and Kate once shared, with Harry describing her as the “sister I never had” during her wedding reception with William.

“Bombshell news like Kate’s puts things into perspective, and Harry isn’t immune from being filled with regrets and what-ifs,” Larcombe told the outlet. He suggested that Kate’s diagnosis may prompt Harry to reflect on their fractured relationship and seek reconciliation.

Addressing reports that the Sussexes were informed of Kate’s diagnosis at the same time as the rest of the world, Larcombe noted that the strained relationship between Harry and the Cambridges may have hindered the sharing of such sensitive information.

Larcombe speculated that Harry may make efforts to reach out to William during his visit to the UK, acknowledging that he may wish to turn back the clock and repair their relationship. He suggested that Harry’s return to the UK could be an opportunity for him to extend an olive branch and attempt to mend fences with his brother.

As Harry prepares to return to his home country for the Invictus Games anniversary, all eyes will be on the potential for reconciliation and healing within the royal family, particularly in light of Kate’s cancer diagnosis.
