According to sources, the Duchess of Sussex’s move to enlist her old colleagues has been met with feelings of “insult” and “hurt,” given her previous distance from them after joining the Royal Family.
An insider revealed to Heat Magazine that Meghan’s request has been perceived as “tone deaf and ungrateful” by many of her former co-stars.
The source pointed out that Meghan has not made efforts to maintain her relationships with the Suits cast, making her latest appeal for their support seem disingenuous.
“It’s all very well for Meghan to expect support when she needs it and obviously she’s desperate for this podcast to be a success, but a lot of people think she’s got real cheek to be asking for any sort of help from her old co-stars,” the insider said.

“Meghan doesn’t ever put Suits down, but she’s certainly distanced herself from most of the cast and from the show,” the insider added.
“It’s pretty insulting, and the feeling is that she ought to be a lot more loyal to her roots.”
