Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Set to Make Major Move Against Justin Baldoni

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are taking legal action following the release of behind-the-scenes footage from It Ends With Us by Justin Baldoni. The couple is now seeking legal protection, claiming that Baldoni’s actions have intensified their ongoing legal battle.

According to E! News, the decision was made on January 21, the same day Baldoni’s legal team, led by attorney Bryan Freedman, released the controversial video. The footage, which captured a dancing scene from the film, has become the latest flashpoint in their dispute.

Lively and Reynolds’ legal team has now filed an official request with Judge Lewis J. Liman, demanding a gag order against Freedman.

The couple alleges that the attorney has repeatedly attempted to sway public opinion through media appearances and leaks.

Court documents reveal that Freedman has been “giving television interviews, appearing on podcasts, issuing inflammatory written statements, and leaking information to the press and tabloid media” almost daily since Lively’s lawsuit was filed in December.

The legal team also claims that Freedman’s statements contain “numerous new false allegations” against the Gossip Girl star, further complicating an already tense legal battle.

Lively and Baldoni’s feud began in December 2024, when the actress accused the Jane the Virgin alum of sexual harassment, creating a hostile work environment, and orchestrating a smear campaign against her while filming It Ends With Us.

Baldoni responded by filing a counter-lawsuit against Lively and Reynolds for $400 million, citing defamation, contract violations, and civil extortion. His legal team argues that Lively’s claims have caused significant damage to his career and reputation.

The legal fight has taken an increasingly public turn, with both sides making bold accusations. The latest request for a gag order suggests Lively and Reynolds want to limit media coverage of the case, which has dominated entertainment news in recent weeks.

Freedman, however, has continued to defend Baldoni, insisting that the allegations against him are unfounded and designed to harm his career. His recent media appearances have only added fuel to the fire.

Insiders close to Lively claim she is determined to clear her name and ensure that Baldoni is held accountable for what she describes as a toxic and abusive workplace environment.

Meanwhile, sources close to Baldoni insist that he has been unfairly targeted and is fighting to restore his reputation.

Legal experts suggest that if the judge grants the gag order, it could significantly impact how the case plays out in the public eye. It would restrict both sides from making public statements or leaking information, forcing the battle to be fought strictly in the courtroom.

With tensions escalating and both parties refusing to back down, this high-profile legal fight shows no signs of slowing down. As the court proceedings continue, the entertainment industry is watching closely to see how one of Hollywood’s biggest legal battles unfolds.
